A fun afternoon with Outshine: Adult and Child Approved

Time is surely flying by, we are in May and before we know it summer will be here! In the meantime we are loving this weather, always breezy and comfortable enough to spend the days outside, and we have been doing just that.

Almost every day this week as soon as the kids leave we turn on the bouncy house and Bella jumps her little heart out while we wait for daddy to get home. Soaking in the afternoon sun with a good snack before dinner. Lester works long hours more often than not so we have a lite snack before dinner while he relaxes a bit. We are also in the process of potty training Bella so you can find us outside until we are done with that adventure!

Bella, like every kid in this world, can live off snacks and never have a bite of regular food, oh and milk of course. We have actually discussed getting a cow just for her but sadly we discovered that our backyard in not big enough. Totally kidding but really please tell me I'm not alone in this?

Monday afternoon we had some family coming over so we decided it was the perfect time to give our snack a different spin. If you follow us on Instagram you have seen too many of my stories that include an Outshine coconut fruit bar so when deciding what to have that afternoon we knew exactly what we were going to serve.

What's great about Outshine fruit bar is that they include so much fruit and juice that as parents we can feel safe feeding them to our kids and they are gluten free.

For adults is just as good. The calorie intake is minimal and always hits the spot specially during the hot summer months.
And honestly I love that I can have a very delicious snack and not ruin my healthy day. Click here for more facts about these yummy fruit bars.
