This week we are spending it in the beautiful Guatemala full of beautiful views and amazing food!

Everywhere you look there is a view that needs to be photographed and documented! Mountains, agriculture and volcanoes! Yes, you read right, volcanoes!
We visited a lake in northern Guatemala and found ourselves in between mountains with 3 volcanoes surrounding us!

It honestly is breathtaking! So different than my sweet flat nonetheless flat Houston.

A yearly vacation has become a tradition in our marriage and now our sweet Bella can be a part of that tradition as well.

One of the traditions that I have been waiting to implement is the famous "Batido de trigo". Batido de trigo ( Puffed wheat cereal) is a shake my mom and grandma use to make when I was little.

Here is the recipe! I promise you'll love it.
- a cup of Golden Crips
- 1/2 cup of your favorite milk
- 1/3 cup of ice
- 1-2 tbs of sugar

(Psst: here is an awesome coupon so you can enjoy this recipe too)

And just  blend! The result is a great shake full of deliciousness that can be used as a late night snack or a yummy breakfast.

Drinking this shake takes me back to so many nights out on the front porch or watching movies with my cousins! It take me back so much that I asked my mom to make me this one just for fun and like always, she said yes!😊

This year, now that Bella is older we will be enjoying this shake together with daddy and will be taking her to her first movie ever, Sing!

This girl loves to sing and what better way to celebrate that then taking her to a signing movie! The previews look amazing.
And Post has teamed up with the makers behind Sing® to bring you a grand prize of $100,000 Sweepstakes with tons of other prizes which include tickets to the movie Sing®!
